This has the making of a cup upset. The Cherries were in ripe form on the weekend in the Championship, as they buried Birmingham 8-0 away from home.
But that was just the cherry on the cake of their recent form, as they have won their last four played on the bounce now. You read even better form by looking back at their six wins (L1) in their last seven played in all competitions. In all but one of those six wins they have scored two or more goals in as well. So they are brimming with confidence at the moment and have the goals to hurt the Premier League outfit.
To make Bournemouth even more backable at the Fitness First Stadium on Tuesday night, is the fact that they have kept four clean sheets in their last six games played. As for West Brom, they had to dig deep to battle back and earn a point against Crystal Palace on the weekend. The Midlands outfit have won just one of their four away games played this season and have really struggled to put clean sheets on the board. They may come under some heavy pressure on Tuesday night, especially as they are winless in their last three in all competitions.
The only things going for them is the scoring form of Saido Berahino and the fact that they have won their previous two League Cup meetings against Bournemouth. However, the value is in backing the Cherries to claim a big Premier League scalp here and move through to the quarter finals.
